Kathryn Parsons has spent more than a fifteen years helping Global 2000 leaders and governments understand, adopt and build with emerging technologies. She founded Decoded, creating the worldโs most preeminent AI Academies and Apprenticeships for enterprise and educating more than one million professionals worldwide.
Today her work sits at the intersection of human and artificial intelligence: building in the AI talent & deployment space; investing and advising founders of frontier AI, deep tech and sovereign technologies; and writing on the impact of AI on business and society.
In her spare time, she co-chairs GBx Global ๐ฌ๐ง๐บ๐ธ, a community of 400 British founders and investors in the Bay Area.
Kathryn studied Classics at Cambridge University, immersing herself in the languages of the ancient world before discovering those of technology.
Kathryn received an MBE for services to education, she successfully campaigned to establish computational thinking as mandatory on the UK national curriculum, and was made an Honorary Fellow of Downing College, Cambridge in 2026.โ โ
